More pics from California....

Liz & Geoff Leavell ~ October 17, 2009

We packed up the kids and drove to Newport Beach for Josh's sister Liz' wedding. It was so beautiful. I was in the wedding line and Meghan was the flower girl. The best part to the kids was playing in the hotel pool with their daddy.

Liz's Bridal Shower

A week before the wedding in California, Liz came up to visit and we had a Bridal shower at her Dad and Alice's house in Alpine. It was so fun. Caitlyn and Meghan were so excited to be apart of the grown-up "girls-only" party!

I'm BEHOND in blogging....I'm so sorry!

Life has been crazy, so I will try to catch up on the past couple months :)

4th of July 2009

This was Squash's first year in Childrens Church, so needless to say, he made this years 4th of July program at Abundant Life, a memorable one! While Meg looked bored out of her mind, he was waving at me, giving me thumbs up, smiling...It made my holiday! What sweet kids!

Patriotism~ I am not sure at what point in your raising, that you either learn as a child, or teach your own children patriotism. Each time we see an American Flag (no matter the time of year)my kids put their hands and their hearts. When I think of patriotism, I think of my own father fighting in the Vietnam War. I try to remember at what point he taught me to love my country, and I cant quite place it. I only know that each time I see a flag like this flying high I get a tug at my heart, and get tears anytime I hear "Proud to be an American" or the "National Anthem". I thank God for my families freedom, and the men who fight for it.

Moto GP...June 2009

We went to MillerSportsPark to see the Moto GP races. It was very fast paced, and soooo HOT! We brought our bikes and rode around as a family. After the race, big Josh hopped on his friends GSXR1000 and snuck onto the track! Meg and squash were by the gate, and when he passed by us and I said..."LOOK AT DADDY!!" they started waving and screaming at their dad..."YOUR WINNING! YOUR WINNING DADDY!" It was helarius. They really thought he was racing, and was IN THE LEAD!

Spring in Delle, Utah

We headed to Delle on Mothers day weekend with Chuck and Nacole. We spent the day watching the kids go round-and-round-and-round the mini track. Squash finially got the "throttle control" issue resolved on the 4-wheeler, and Meghan PERFECTED riding her KTM. These kids are so much like daddy when it comes to outdoor activities. "What do you want to do this weekend?" asks Dad. "DIRTBIKES!" exclaim Meghan and Josh!

Easter 2009

We of course went to church on easter and afterwards had the annual Easter Egg hunt. Meghan and Josh looked so sweet all duded up. Josh's jacket and tie lasted all of 10 minutes after we got to church. He is not meant for the "white-collar" world!

SQUASH TURNS 4 !!!

Our baby turned 4 on April 11th. I can not beleive how fast time has gone by. When I was pregnant with him, I prayed that I would have a little boy that loved me too pieces, and always want to hug me and be with me. BOY O BOY! I got my wish, and hope he never grows out of his love for his mommy.

Cake is a skater ramp cake made by our dear friend Darci King...of King's Cakes!

After the cake party, we headed to Lorenas's Mexican restaurant to celebrate! Joshy wanted NOTHING to do with the Sombrero and song routine.

Motorcross Races April 2009

We went to pre-race pits and got pics with the KTM bikes, then later went back to the races! Of course......CHAD REED (Meghan's true love) took 1st place! It was cold and rainy, but soo worth it!
