Halloween 2007!!

I turned 30 on Halloween :( I am feeling every bit of it! Megs and Josh had a great time Trick-or-Treating. Aunt Stacey and Cole came to visit. I still have the candy bags hidden from the kids, and Meghan is not too impressed with me. Limiting them to 2 peices of candy a day is HARD!!

Bryden Academy Halloween Carnival 2007

To infinity and beyond!!! Squash is Buzz Lightyear this Halloween and Meghan is a princess of course (can you be anything else?) Josh was so mad at me when we pulled up to the school for the carnival on Saturday evening, he thought I was dropping him off for the night..."No!" "No!" he kept saying, so we only stayed for about 15 minutes.

Bigger Josh takes his annual trip to Moab, Utah.....

Josh, Nate, Sam, and many other middle-aged hoodlums went on their annual "boys trip" to Moab, Utah for a weekend of dirtbiking and outrageous fun! October 2007

The Leaves are falling...and so is Meghan!

The days are getting shorter, and so is Josh's temper....While raking up leaves he and Meghan got into another brawl, and he decided to clock her in the head with the rake! Wow, what love we have for one another.

Camping at Delle, Utah

This has to be one one of my all time favorite pics. This sums it up, daddy and Squash, living for the thrill of the ride. Daddy had to tote squash around that track the majority of the day, and that still wasn't enough! Like father, like son.

Look Mom......no training Wheels!

Our Megs learned to ride her wee little bike with no training wheels! Well, it worked because daddy bribed her " If you can ride this one with no training wheels, we will go buy you a new bigger bike"...and all of about 40 minutes later she was making laps around us in the driveway! She gets a bit scared at times, but we are so proud....and of course, mommy cried.

A Day at Delle!

The first week of September we went on a Family/ neighbor trip to Delle, Utah. Our great neighbors Chris and Stef came along, and it did not disapoint! Chris managed to run himself over with his four-wheeler. Squash stayed on his manly-Barbie-Jeep the whole time, and Meg's never got off of her four-wheeler. Stef, Stacey and I all sat in the shade and read our books. It was a great time.

First Day of Kindergarten!!

Meghan had her first day of school on August 29, 2007. She was soooo excited. She has already gotten to be "Teachers pet" for a day...and recites the pledge of allegiance like nothing you have ever heard! Her teacher is Mrs. Martin. During her assesment, she said the funniest thing to her teacher. Mrs. Martin asked her , "Meghan, what is your favorite book?"...Meghan said "How Dinosours eat their dinner"....Mrs Martin then asked "Can you tell me about this book?" and our sweet Megs replied, "No, but I can bring it in and you can read it!" Just like her Mommy!!!

more wedding....

Joe and Sis (Nita) Cuttin' sum rug!!

Lisa and Brian Smith Wedding

Meghan and I flew out to Michigan at the end of June to be in my cousin Lisa's wedding. It was held at My Aunt and Uncles "cabin" out in the boonies. It was so amazing. All the family was there. My sister Nita and her kids, my brother Joe (wife Faith) and his kids, my brother Norm, as well as all aunts and uncle's I havent seen in a millenium. Meghan had a blast playing outdoors with the frogs, and running around the property. The wedding turned out spectacular. My swet Lisa (who I think was seperated from me at birth) looked absolutely angelic. It was the best family reunion! Megs and I spent the whole wedding night dancing our hearts out! My hair was completely out of its "up-do" by 7pm.....but well worth it. Congrats to Lisa and Brian. May God bless their marriage, as he has mine.

Our Sugar Monkies

Here they are...Meghan Savanna and Joshua Richard. Meghan will be 5 years old on Aug 1st, and Joshua just turned 2 in April. Meghan is so excited to start school in September, and Joshy is basically just excited to be alive! There was a point (like the first 18 months of his life) when we thought we would not survive him (or he would not survive us) ....but wow has our little Squash changed. He's happy all the time! Their favorite things to do are hug Mommy, talk to Mommy, pester Mommy, do Tae Bo with Mommy (we have had only one minor injury) , well.......just basically BE WITH MOMMY....

Here we are!

Please excuse the old photo, but here we are, in the flesh. This was (funny enough) our Christmas photo for 2006. Rosco (the dog) totally steals the show. He is so huge now. He will be 2 in December, and weighs in at over 160 lbs! He is a tank, but such a lover.

Isn't it just like me to tell you all about the dog first, instead of my own children! What a great mommy I am.
(Yes......that is a dog biscuit on my shoulder)
